Why Arbitrum, who needs it, and how this network’s rules differ from the rest — short and to the point.
Not abstract “crypto risks,” but the rules of this network. For each — what happens, and how Mitilena shows it before the Send button.

The ARB token is voting power in governance, not fuel. Fees are paid in ETH. “I have ARB, why won’t USDT send” — you need ETH specifically on Arbitrum, separate from ETH on Ethereum.

The address looks the same on Ethereum and on Arbitrum; the balances do not. An exchange gave you an address “for Ethereum” — a transfer on Arbitrum to it goes to the wrong floor. The reverse is the same.

Withdrawing to Ethereum via the official bridge takes about 7 days (the challenge period). Fast bridges take minutes, but with a fee and a middleman.

As on Polygon, there are two USDCs here: native from Circle and bridged USDC.e. Different contracts, different lists on exchanges.
Gas on Arbitrum is paid in ETH, not ARB. You need ETH specifically on Arbitrum — separate from ETH on Ethereum.
Cents per transfer, in ETH. It gets more expensive when Ethereum gets more expensive — part of the fee goes there.

The funds sit on Arbitrum at that address. If the exchange accepts Arbitrum — write support with the hash; if not — only the key owner (the exchange) can return them, at their discretion.
